driving.co.uk – the best cars, the best car writing
Driving.co.uk launched in October 2012 as a companion to the newspaper pullout.
The home of Jeremy Clarkson, it carries a roll call of leading industry writers as well as a host of guest contributors with a common love for the open-road. While the writers underpin the personality and authority of the site, its functional core is a growing list of over 200k cars for sale.
In December 2014 Driving, and fellow News UK automotive site Sun Motors, entered a strategic partnership with Motors.co.uk. The partnership saw all three sites merge their classified listings to produce one of the largest databases of cars for sale across the UK.
The partnership also enables News UK to offer display advertising that span all three sites, adding Motors.co.uk 2.5m monthly site visitors alongside Driving and Sun Motors’ fast growing audience base.
The road ahead: Smart search across new and used
2015 will see all three brands focus on improving the effectiveness of their car buying tools; launching a new car search allowing buyers to compare prices and options across the entire new car market.
The changes to the new car search follow in the wake of a series of phased improvements to the used car search, set to continue in the year ahead.
With the proliferation of car body types and fuel options, Driving is pioneering new ways to help users find their perfect car according to individual lifestyle needs. So, whether you’re a thrill seeker looking for lightening 0-60mph performance, or you have a growing family needing space and comfort, Driving can help you find your perfect car, new or used.
